Crypto scam checker

Paste an Ethereum address or transaction hash. We'll check it against public scam reports and show its recent transfers.

Public information only, no wallet connection. Never enter a seed phrase or private key.

What to paste

An Ethereum address starts with 0x and is 42 characters long. A transaction hash starts with 0x and is 66. You'll find both in your wallet's activity or on a block explorer.

What we check

Scam and theft reports from GoPlus, which collects them from security firms, and the latest transfers from the Blockscout explorer.

What it can't tell you

Whether an address is safe. Scam addresses are often new and unreported, so finding no reports isn't a clean bill of health.

Ethereum mainnet only. ENS names and other networks aren't supported yet. Your search is sent to Blockscout and GoPlus to run the check, and results may be cached for five minutes.
