I reached out to CryptoAssetRecovery in late March of this year. We spent a day or two going back and forth with questions, and then they downloaded a backup of my wallet. At that point, I gave them a handful of password guesses. They wrote back a few days later to say that they had checked my password guesses, but that they hadn't found the password. They asked for more guesses, but they must have kept working on it, because I didn't have any more guesses to give them. Then, in May, they wrote and said that they had found my password! I was blown away, but delighted to have access to my funds again.
